... for a folder in the digital RF section for pictures FROM digital RFs?
we have folders for pictures from leicas etc etc but we dont have a folder for ONLY digital RF shots.
i was looking for some digital shots from certain lenses and you cant really find what you are looking for in these situations.
Doesn't anyone think its better to have different digital and analog folders so we can manage to find what we want? no?
just a proposal.

I see your point, but it's all just photography to me. I just start a thread in the M8 / M9 section and ask a specific question when i want to see a particular lens on these cameras.

Yeah, I'm kind of invested in the notion of analog/digi being roughly interchangeable media.

what i am thinking and know is that lenses have different rendering when digital or analog. anyway it was just a proposal, feel free to delete the thread if its a bad idea

I do not support this proposal.
Photographs from both media are just photographs.
I am much more interested in content than how the photograph was recorded.
Besides, the economics of displaying photos for free here means the sort of technical details you're interested in are mostly obscured by image compression.

I think lenses will have similar characteristics across mediums, but I also think it's true that lenses will contain very different characteristics for analogue and digital.
I think this all comes down to the old "analogue vs. digital" battle and I'm choosing my words carefully right now so as not to jump into that tired discussion on this thread. It'll be hard to have this discussion without jumping right into that-- At which point this discussion will have gotten away from us.

I'm pretty sure that flickr would be more useful to you in this regard.
