Decided that it should be relatively simple to 'pimp' one or two cameras. So thought I would investigate the possibilities of doing a recover job. I'm happy enough to make my own template and cut material to fit - well I am in theory because I haven't tried yet! What I need is a supply of double sided tape suitable for sticking leather or equivalent.
Having done a 'Google' all I seem to find is 50m long rolls and I hadn't really intended to set up in business offering members a service.
50m long tapes are a bit pricey too!!
So I am looking for some pieces about 50mm wide and up to 15cm wide.
There must be alternatives out there - must there?
Pliobond and double sided carpet tape are ideas.
So, pleae, suggestions, advice and some notes on 'what youv'e gone and done' would be appreciated.

I hope this is available in the UK- I love it, it's just like the stuff I found on the bodies of Seagull TLR and Cosina Bessa types. Appears to be glue saturated tissue paper that is quite thin and easy to handle, since it's rolled between waxed stiff paper.

When I use it I butt 1 inch wide tape so the joins are not accross stressed areas.
I prefer to use Pritt for leather, it is slow to bond but easy to remove, without damage, the Kiev needs frequent stripping.
