So has anyone had experience developing slide film at downtown camera. They have two options... one is e6it and the other is some lab in montreal.
Or are there any other places to send 35mm slide film in Toronto?
Thanks

E6it is local guy in high park, takes super long, I believe. A friend used the Montreal option, it was OK, not perfect and quite expensive. Sadly, there's no other option available in Toronto.

Well, not in Toronto, but in Montréal:

A friend of mine is using it for E6 and is very satisfied.

thanks for the replies.
i've actually decided to stick with AgX imaging in michigan. I talked with the owner and he said he receives and sends slide film across the border all the time without hassle.
E6it seems too long of a wait. and borealis is expensive and unknown to me.
has anyone tried mailing film from canada to the us? any suggestions on how to send it?

As noted Downtown Camera sends out its film to either Borealis or E6it. David Nardi runs E6it and back in the day when he was doing runs twice a month it was amazing. This was just when Toronto Image Works was discontinuing its E6 service.
I've used both E6it and Borealis and would have to say that both are good services. Borealis being the better option of the two and worth the extra cost if there is any.
I had heard that ImageFoundry was doing small run E6 as well. I've heard multiple times that their printing services are very high quality and I expect that the processing would also be of high caliber. Might be worth looking into but I've never used them myself.
