The finder is the Sigma. I was surprised and delighted
that it worked so well. I could see the framelines clearly
in all lighting conditions. It is as accurate as any and better than
I expected. There is a parralex marking for close up. I
believe for under 28cm.
My concerns were in the accuracy and sight. I'm satisfied.
On my DP1 I use the Voigtlander as it's better.
I tried using AF with the finder and with some practice
I feel it will be fine when needed.
You can't really set Hyper-Focal distance because
the scale is not articulate but I focused at around
7+' and it worked well at every fstop.
The camera surprised me...there are 2 images of a man
standing under a marque, they were captured with less than
2 seconds time interval. It felt instantanious when I tried it.
Some images have blue because I want to know what
happens if......so I tested all kiinds of things.
I will do some low light stuff and load the files when I have tested
under those conditions.
The camera is a winner. Sigma gets a bad rap cause
people have wants that are not met by the DP cameras.
I'm happy cause They deliver what I want.
With the DP1 & Dp2, I don't miss my Leica M's anymore.
Oh, The lens is a monster......
