Is it possible to get the Sigma DP1 to work faster if I buy a faster memory card?
Now I have a Transcend SDHC Class 6 4GB in it.

I can't speak for the Sigma DP1, but I find in my dSLR that a 2GB Sandisk Extreme III (that's a 133x standard SD, not SDHC) card is quite a bit faster than a class 4 and class 6 SDHC card. There's a small but noticeable lag with the SDHC card that isn't there with the SD.
I can say too that the difference is noticeable in my Canon G7 when I swapped a Sandisk Extreme II for a III. I think the answer to your question is yes.

Answers from DP1 owners needed though. There's been alot of discussion about the slowness of this particular camera.

Writing out the buffer to an Extreme III is much faster than writing to an Ultra II.
However, I can take another picture as soon as the DP1 starts blinking red (writing to the card).

Oh, really. I didn't know you can. I always waited for the red light to stop blinking.
How on earth would people be so upset about the slowness of this camera? I managed fine even before knowing that.
