Ok so following up on the other thread with the M2 Question, for these goggles, which lenses does it work with. I know the 50 DR Summicron, but someone mentioned an older version vs a new version using different ones. We were thinking of looking for a lens since it might be easier to sell that way. I discovered we have the hood for the lens too. All the damn attachements except the most important part! :bang:

I've seen some 5cm versions on ebay with no goggles, but I don't know if that is the right version to take these goggles or not.

Thanks again everyone!

I think this is explained on the Camera Quest web site. The earlier version focused to 19" and had goggles with a logo showing enlarger condensers. The later version focused to 20" and had this logo. You can tell the lenses apart based on whether they had feet, meters, or both marked on the distance scale.

I tend to wonder whether the earlier one really focused any closer.

well I found one on ebay and tried to follow the remarks on Camera Quest but it doesn't seem to follow right. Like this lens shows the ratio marks, is only marked in feet, yet it focuses to 20, not 19 like the site says so I dunno. It looks a bit wonky on the coatings anyways so we probably aren't interested, but I am still not sure how to distinguish as the one on ebay doesn't seem to follow the directions on Camera Quest.
