Dream On... (a little OT. or a lot?)

I was contemplating my SLR shooting this evening, specifically the contrast between how I enjoy shooting the K1000 rather more than the 300D. And I thought... I'd love the 300D's imaging gubbins in the body of the K1000: kinda like the weirdo in-between cousin of the RD-1 and the Bessaflex. That's a camera I'd buy and love.

So in the meantime, contemplate a bit of buying and selling of EOS glass: ever since I got into shooting RFs, I've been getting much more into primes. And the things I still use the DSLR for are all applications where I mainly use primes (specifically, firework shows, and gigs). SO time to sell the the big heavy zoom (28-135IS if anyone's interested - I may be posting an FS soon, but int he meantime drop me a line if curious) to go to a three-prime kit (four if you count the Zenitar fisheye 😀 ). Plus the extension tubes for macro work. Sorted.

Yeah. Very OT, irrelevant, and waffle. Just thinking out loud/on screen!

I thought the K1000 finder was supposed to be so dark you were likely to be eaten by a grue? (just joking - I was of the SRT persuasion at the time - hi Zork fiends!)

The darkest finder I have would be that of the aforementioned Canon.
