Dream rangefinder

If there was ever a sign that I've been looking at this forum too often, it manifested itself last night.

I had a dream about being offered a second hand camera (by a beautiful woman!) that I'd never seen before. It was a kind of cross between a Nikon S series and an F5. So traditional dials and rangefinder with a rubberised very solid body and manual focus. Oh and it was digital, with the sensor from a D2X.

I was kind of confused that this model had somehow eluded me for several years, but of course pleased to have discovered it. All she was asking was £700. There the dream ended I'm afraid, so I can't offer a full review or test images.

Anyone else fantasised over such a hybrid?

I once dreamed I had a Nikon F6, in the dream it was great, but in real life, I don't GAS after one at all.

Here's a thought.
A dream rangefinder in the form of a beautiful woman
whose controls are all within easy reach.
I'd settle for a model with a bottom that pops open revealing a slot for MF film.🙂

I have had dreams about getting particular models of camera, but none I can recall where I got a camera nobody'd ever heard of.

And your dreams differ from mine. In my good dreams about GAS, everything is $5 at a yard sale.

I have certainly woken from a deep sleep and remembered dreaming about some sort of camera. I know the weeks leading up to my Bessa's arrival, I was dreaming about what it may look and feel like. Now the only dreams about camera stuff I have involve slaving away in the silver darkroom. I'm not complaining, however!
