...down the stairs and now the release latch is loose.
the plate closes properly, but the release latch can't stay in its place because the pivot is free to turn, it has no more resistance.

how can I fix it?
can I find the only release latch (I saw it's very simple to mount on the botton plate)?

I don't want to send the M9 for such a silly thing...

I don't think you can manually fix the latch easily, you'll need to take it apart first and see what's missing when it actually fell off. Or you can order luigi's bottom plate and makes life easier when you want to switch memory cards or batteries. But I'm having a hard time for him to reply my emails.

the grip, the luigi's solution and the really right stuff plate are some kind of ugly...
no thanks, I'll stick with the original one :D

for now I put a little piece of bi-adhesive tape that seems to do the job...

Well far be it from me to get you to do something you aren't comfortable with, but there is a screw in the middle of the locking plate. Try tightening it?

Steve

Take the screw out and see what is going on underneath then  Obviously you can't make it much worse.

Steve

already done, it's very simple and there's nothing wrong to my eyes.
I think the problem is the pivot itself, which can't be disassembled, not without the proper tool.
