Dslr combination to match M8 35/f2.5 colour scopar ?

I love using my once-in-alifetime[ life line ? ] M8 , but would love an AF camera which would render similar images , used would be an advantage .
There seems to be a depth to the M8 images which I can't explain .

A camera which would accept the Color Scopar / Summitar would be Ok , but this means an even smaller sensor .
I probably can't afford it but would like to know .

Nikon d50 with a 50 f1.8 or 35 f2.

No DSLR will allow the Scopar or Summitar to focus to infinity unfortunately. Only option is mirrorless.

Maybe a Canon digital Eos with a adapter????
