HEY! These look good, almost like you shot them on film!
I'll bet the photog is honked off about that first one though. Now he's got a shot of all of them looking at his camera except the one next to the bride.

Great shots! ... I would have assumed you were the hired photog.

Thanks for all the feedback..
I've been producing wedding videos as a side gig to my full time job for a few years now. Recently I've been wanting to get into wedding photography simply because I'm burnt out with the video editing. My full confidence to do a wedding as a paying gig is not there quite *yet* but these comments certainly do help!
Ray: It's a MKI
NB23: I was the director for that video.

I worked as a wedding photog for a number of years, albeit with medium format but i am very impressed by your shots ywenz. I'm jealous. A friend of mine also did a wedding on saturday, his first ever. he was the official photog and was using his DSLR. Not seen his pix yet though.
I've never shot 35mm or digital at a wedding. I packed it in a long time ago and now I'm getting older I just don't get invited to any

Wow, those are beautifully done, not to mention very inspiring. I was the primary at my friend's wedding a couple weeks back, which also happened to be my first wedding gig. I was so nervous, you could've mistaken me as the one getting married! I borrowed a friend's 5D and opted to skip out on the flash and I'm glad I did as the photos look (in my opinion) a lot more intimate without it. A friend of the groom's father who has been photographing for 20 years was shocked that I even considered going with just available lighting.
My cousin is engaged to an East Indian lady and I'll be the primary at that wedding next year (08/08/08). I can only hope my photos will be anything as lively as yours
