I got a nice dual range Summicron 50/2, good glass, but the focusing action is not smooth enough, somewhat sticky at the normal range and really bad (stiff, crunchy) at the "macro" range, probably from not being used in decades. Seems like a usual dirt/dried grease and I want to take the focusing mechanics apart, wash and lubricate. Removable optical block makes this convenient. I could not find any instructions for this job on the web, but it does not look that difficult. Can anyone pint me in the right direction? I've done this before on other lenses, though never on a Leica lens. Again, this is not about the optical block, but about the focusing parts. Thank you!
