Duane Michals free talk at CMOA Pittsburgh November 16

Coinciding with an exhibition of his work, Duane Michals will be giving a free artist talk at Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh between 1-2pm on 16 November.

The exhibition "Storyteller: The Photographs of Duane Michals" runs from November 1, 2014 – February 16, 2015 so there's plenty of time to see that.

On November 15 & 16, there's also "An Intimate Evening and Critique for Artists with Duane Michals and Richard Kelly", which includes a viewing and discussion of the exhibition with Duane Michals and Richard Kelly, followed by dinner/further discussion and a portfolio review on the 16th with Richard Kelly.

For any who find Michals' work inspiring (and I'm one), this sounds like a good opportunity to meet him and discuss his work.

-It was about three or four years ago when I met Duane Michals at the opening of an exhibitions of his photographs in Verona, Italy. He was very nice and made an interesting speech. I suggest you not to miss the opportunity to meet him!
