According to this video, director of photography Greig Fraser shot multiple behind the scenes photos during production of Dune 1 and 2. He did this throughout production, separate from the unit stills photographer. Josh Brolin added anecdotes and descriptions to the book. A comment on the video says that in BTS photos of Fraser, he can be seen shooting with a Minolta SRT-101, Pentax 67 and Pentacon 6!
