I have decided the only way to properly scan my Minox pics is to wet print first.
My problem is with the lens board for my enlargers. The Durst is a 600M and the Meopta is an Opemus 3. They both use 70mm diameter lens boards which I have, but the lenses I want to use (16mm and 25mm) require that the board is more deeply recessed. My boards are only a little recessed - (SIXTUB). The Durst equivalent I need is a SIXTIF but I can't locate one and I ask if any of the Meopta boards will do the same job - ie bring the lens closer to the negative and allow greater enlargement and what is it's name?
I don't mind a bit of metalwork. I realise is is like cracking a nut with a sledge hammer but the last thing I need is another enlarger such as the Minox which won't do my Minolta negs anyway. Thanks for any help.

Have you concidered an 'ENLA' lens? I use the Yashica Autoron an am quite satisfied with it.
You can read abou the various ones available at
<subclub.org/darkroom/enlas.htm>
And purchase one here

Thanks for that, Rich. I will try again later as I am getting a message the server is unavailable. I think Joe McGloin runs it.
Curiously I was looking at that site just the other day, too, but I missed the bit about Yashica or ENLA lens boards being axailable.
I'm beginning to think I'll gave to make one. I spent an hour at the hardware outlet looking at possible bits I could use. It will be crude but hopefully effective. Fingers crossed.

Later: it's up and running again. They stress the rarity of these items and I'm not quite sure how they work except as a retro-focus thing. Anyway I got lots of ideas from that site after you prompted me to revisit and I thank you.

Hi Murray
I have the SIXTIF. I have surfed all internet and asked many forums before I knew what I had precisely.
I shouldn't write it here but if you look around in the usual market places.... you will find it waiting for you from Italy!
all the best

Thank you Paolo, I have looked at it and the 25mm is a bit of a problem. My lenses are 39mm.
I will ask my friend who is a retired tool maker and has all the gear if it would be possible to enlarge the diameter of the hole and put the screw threads in it.
I will let you know when I have talked to him.
