Hi everyone,
My first post here! I have a Durst M800 enlarger and am looking for a Unicon 85 condenser so I can print from 6x6 negs from my Rolleiflex. The Unicon 50 gives me lots of vignetting as I discovered last night as I put in my first 6x6 negs.

Does anyone know if condensers from other Durst enlargers will fit into the tray holder? I have read that maybe M700 condensers are the same size. Any suggestions for a workaround?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Or anyone with something for sale would be also great ;-)

The A300, A600, M700, M800 and DA-900 all take the same condenser size (albeit they'll only work with the max. coverage of their design).

For the M800 the series is: Unicon 50, Unicon 85 and Unicon 105. The Unicon 85 is intended for standard 80mm and 50mm objectives--- in, however, different positions. The 105 is for objectives of focal length between 85 and 105mm. The 50 is for 28mm-50mm--- also raised and lowered positions. For 6x6 there is really no alternative--- save going over the cold or diffuse illumination--- then to try to source a Unicon 85. They appear from time to time on the used market. Their prices, however, tend to fall into both extremes...

Thanks for the info Edward, I'll keep looking. I see you are in Munich, I'm in Innsbruck and was thinking of driving up tomorrow to check out some of the second hand stores behind Sonnenstrasse! maybe you know some other spots for second hand gear?

Mfg, Andy
