For those interested in how the cv 40 goes on the E-P1. Pretty sure it was F2 (maybe 2.8). 400 iso
Combination is fun to use and easy to focus.
100% crop

John, you should try some old cine lenses. I had a Wollensak Cine Raptar 25mm 1.9 for $70, and it's incredibly sharp at 2.8

How easy to focus? In particular, compared to with the R-D1. The lens has become a favourite of mine in shooting bands in low light situations. I was wondering how fast you can focus manually with the Oly when the subject is moving.

The 40 1.4 and R-D1 is also a favourite of mine for bands. The 2x crop now makes it an 80mm, so I am hoping it will be as successful on the E-P1.
I haven't tried yet under such conditions but I am think that the ability of the LCD to 'snap' into focus may make it easier. I still think it will take some practice with a fair share of misses. At least the LCD won't be effected by bright sunlight.
