E-P2 vs GF1: which is better for VIDEO?

Sorry if this was beaten to death previously - I searched and did not find much.

I'm thinking about one of these cameras for travel and all-around casual use when I don't feel like lugging a bulkier kit. In this mission, strong video capability would be highly desirable.

I'm torn because I had been leaning towards the Oly for the in-body stabilization and viewfinder, but the Pany has the flash and I've seen a couple mentions that its video is better.

Any direct experience or samples in the video area would be greatly appreciated!

The GF1 does HD vids with AVCHD Lite and with a HDMI connection to be able to pug it in straight to the TV for playback. The video mode is really really nice and easy to use. Im yet to connect it to the TV and see how it performs, but I am sure I wont be dissapointed. Ive held both the EP1 and 2 and the GF1 and the live view was much better on the GF1.

The DP Review review might help. 🙂 It has some demo vids and more info on the GF1 Video stuffs.

Thanks chug! I have seen the DP Review but I don't think there is one for the E-P2, yet. I will look at the E-P1 review video section again as I assume they are similar or identical (?) in that regard.

Tough choice!
