Hello everyone! I just bought an early Canonet that looks to be in great shape. Shutter speeds seem to work etc. etc.

http://www.canon.com/camera-museum/...961_net.html?lang=us&categ=crn&page=1956-1965

According to the manual, there is supposed to be an aperture scale at the bottom of the viewfinder. When I look through my viewfinder, I cannot see the scale. All I see is the focusing "square" and the frame lines.

Is there something wrong with my camera? Or is mine a version without the scale? Any help is appreciated.

On Konica Auto S aperture projection in VF depends from angle how eye looks into and ambient light. I doubt scale is gone physically.

Ok, Here's my view... and it stays the same regardless of angle, btgc
