Many congrats. My early Christmas R with 35/2.5 arrived recently, and I like it a lot - I'm just waiting for my first results to come back from the lab. (Actually, I like it so much I've also just got a 75/2.5 to go with it - it arrived today 😀 )

Alan,I've got some FSU glass to use from my FEDs,however,the 75/2.5 looks mighty good.Maybe the lens Santa will land on my roof.........Robin

Actually, I've had the R for a couple weeks, picked up the 75/2.5 yesterday. I'm having lotsa fun getting used to this kit, and expect it to do nice things for me...

I think I spoilt Christmas when I did a BIN on eBay whilst working into the wee hours last week. It was a 'user' M2 but at a _stupidly_ low price.

Well, I received it the beggining of the week and I can't think of many presents that would top this.
