Does anybody have an idea what an Early Linholf 6.5x9cm F is?

There's one for sale here and the only details are - Early Linholf 6.5x9cm F.
Beats both me, my book and google, any help and/or pics will be greatly appreciated and most likely lead to more GAS.

Linhof did make "field" cameras, and a 6x9 rollfilm back was available. Without further data from you, or a photo, it is hard to determine if this is just a film back or a camera with a film back.

No link or photo sorry, just a listing I spotted on an used camera dealers catalogue. It must be a camera as it comes with two lenses.
Got me curious...

There were various Linhof folding field cameras that came before the Technika between 1899 and 1934. This might be one of them, but who knows from such a vague description?

From that size, it's a plate camera that I'd bet was made prior to 1930. Probably folds and may have front movements. Make sure it comes with plate holders that you can convert to sheet film or it's a shelf queen. Depending on the price, the two lenses may be worth more than the camera. You'd probably do better asking over at http://nelsonfoto.com/v/index.php as there are several folks in the large format forum who shoot plate cameras.

Good luck!
