Thanks, Erik. I am enjoying your pictures on this thread -you went twice! Old-school Canon DSLR's and Canon L glass. As far as I recall: the EOS 1D Mark III -it had a design shutter problem which Canon repaired within days, and the EOS 5D Mark II. The lenses: the L 2.8/16-35, and the L 2.8/24-70.
It's funny you ask, since I was also pleasantly surprised by the look and feel of these pictures and asked people on this forum whether I should be looking for a later model Canon body, and re-use the Canon glass, again.
The bodies and lenses are currently in a cupboard on another continent and whenever we will be able to travel, I've decided to bring the lot to Vietnam and to take it from there.
