^^^ Imposing architecture! Is construction paused?
This reminds me of some houses in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Property taxes reportedly aren't collected until the house is finished. So a way to avoid/defer the tax is to finish the lower floor and move in, while the upper level and outside enhancements are theoretically still under construction!

Many years ago, it was the same situation in Bosnia & Herzegovina with thousands of unfinished houses to avoid paying property tax. I am not sure what was the situation with this house in Chisinau. During my five-year stay in that city, the house remained unfinished.

thank you Helen! oddly enough only one of them wanted to kill me
I talked with the lady and she often meet in the nearby park with another owner who also has 6 of those so together they make the Dirty Dozen. Also she got her dogs from a relative who breeds them and sell her "leftovers at the discount price".

I like this picture, I remember reading about dogs in Poland, the diminish of the dachshund from favourite dog during PRL to seeing virtually none nowadays
