Eastern Europe

First Tiraspol picture I've seen here. Very nice. I used to frequently travel there in an official capacity: no cameras allowed. Cheers, OtL

I have uncompleted (thank you CoV-19) documentary series from the area - Moldova and Transnistria.

Never had problem with photography there, except for one little crossing with nervous armymen.

It looks like very interesting project worth coming back to finish.

About 30 years ago I visited Central and Eastern Europe with my father on what was ostensibly a trip back to his home country, Hungary, but in fact took in a few others as well. I have recently been through a frenzy of scanning them so here are some pic made then. There are others too but these of Hungary may suffice.

I spent some time looking at your work and the work of your colleagues at Verum Photo. Fascinating work by all. I’d like to know more about how this group came about, and I imagine others here would as well (even if they have not yet perused the Verum website and sample publications/photo-essays).
