Health and safety is very differently understood in different countries. Having said that, I grew up drinking water from any water hose available in the streets.
I don't know how to photograph things that look familiar to me. I go to Poland and everything looks new and worthy of being photographed. People are also more willing to be photographed, I get a lot of grief in UK.Pan, I really like how Poland always look on your pictures, I think you have more sympathy for this country than us local photographers.

Stepper Barnack, Perfect Summar 50/2, Adox CHS II in FX-39 1+14.
That middle photo - you mentioned Latvia elsewhere, is that the indoor market in the Zeppelin hangars? I missed them the only time I've ever been there - 1994, looking at cows - and have never got back...![]()

testing Kowa Six just outside my shop, first two with 55/3.5, third with 85/2.8. I know I crushed the blacks quite ugly but those are my first scans using VueScan on Canon 9000F and I need to find a way for more linear output files, but with some basic adjustments. Also the HP5 was expired and pushed in Rodinal 1+25...
it's a close to perfect condition uncoated one. I love Summars, had them in all kinds of condition, from 50$ junk to this little gem. What kind of Summar do you have? Is it coated? Is it chrome or nickel? What's its number block? The pictures look excellent!
I very much like Summars when they are without scratches and coated. These are rare. The front lens is very soft.
Erik.
