The hard reality of What is going down starting in "Oz" is a phased introduction across the entire width of the Ebay business model. The first step in the USA was introduced on March 17th and that requires Ebay to all sellers that do not have 100 feedbacks or are selling certain products . whcih do not include film cameras. Or suposdly anythig from Ebay motors. But inreality Ebay USA has already sent our Blocks to prevent relisting on all products and the catch all is,,,sliding the goal line first by claiming that now you can not use Buy it Now or Best Offer with already being beyond the 100 "seller" transaction level.
But in reality they are blocking any auction listing that does not use PayPal We know this as we have gotten these blocks put on all listings. As we do not deal in any of what were the stated product areas and most of our sales are actually aviation parts at Ebay Motors...We should be exempt period. But again what they say and what they do NEVER match up......I think we call that a Lie.
Look you guys can stand around and just watch this happen but it is in process and they will try anything legal or not and then litigate a resoultion when it suite them. If Exxon pulled this type of crap you would hear howling. Weather you want ot believe or not .....Being froced to use PayPal and then illegally hold funds is a throw back to the dasy of JP MOrgan....this behavior is clearly why the Anti Trust laws were created.
I also agree that you will see a dramatic up swing in he business of other acution sites . But you not let a bank who was breaking consumer banking laws get a "free pass" pr hold your checks just for the hell of it.....Of course not. The only power a conssumer has are tow things 1. go to the govt agency with enforcement of law. The second is to vote with your "money" and do business with another source. Best Regards....Laurance
