Ebay Chuckles...

Move the decimal over two points to the left and we can start there...
That's a lot of pictures for this item...

That thing is in terrible condition!
Any clue to what the lens is? A pinhole, perhaps?

and who would have guessed that it's being sold by camera$?

I remember them ... they're the people who were trying to sell that luuurvly painted white and very rare KievII.

My ... they have some gems! :p

And so reasonable!:D

I have a few old folders I could paint blue and sell for $148...oh, I would have to hit them with a hammer first...

Like all auctions, eBay relies on the buyer knowing what the values really should be. Caveat emptor is the old legal expression. For example, how often have I seen "rare" used to describe fed or zorki cameras? Well they may be rare on the moon but here on earth they are anything but.

Given that seller is always almost as overpriced as Arsenal, I can only believe that they must have shell buyers to pretend they sell their expensive trash.

Sheesh.

Eh? I don't get it. I bought a CLA'd Zeiss Ikonta folder for a lot less than that in perfect condition. That is just a piece of beaten up s**t. Who in their right mind would pay ANYTHING for that?

It must be true... humans really are dumber than yeast....

I have always suspected that myself. Yet he continues to list and show sales at quite high prices. I don't know how anyone could buy many of what he lists at the prices he lists. Strange ...

And yet someone bought it! At least it was a private auction, so noone knows who was that stupid to buy it!

Did anyone really buy it though? I don't think so & that's exactly why it's a private auction. Just another example of how I believe that Ebay fosters fraud and theft.

ANSCO was an american camera maker.
At a certain point in time many AGFA's were rebranded ANSCO

Wasn't Arsenal the one selling "rare collectable" FED 2s and 3s a while back in way more colors than the factory ever offered them in? They had one with a white covering that looked kind of sharp, but I couldn't convince myself that someone hadn't just painted a black covering white.
