ebay - gotta read the ads better

i 'won' 3 filters off ebay and they came in today.

i bid on 3 B&W filters, but i won 3 B+W filters, all 3 like new in case for 20 bucks shipped.
if i had taken a better look at the pics i would have noticed their distinct case too.

this was a good deal.

It's always enjoyable when you get a nice "surprise". A lot of folks forget that eBay is just an exchange mechanism (and a pretty good one at what it does). Most buyers and sellers there are decent folks. And, as in any society, you have the usual sociopaths who sour the atmosphere for everyone else.

Like you, Joe, I've had particularly good luck with filters. I got an entire set of 43cm B&W filters for my Nikkor/CV lenses for pennies a few months ago. They were NIB which seller never mentioned.

Seller was probably an old photo shop clearing out inventory.

Whatever, like you did, I got a great deal.

Congrats and enjoy. Someday, I'll bore you with my "Yellow Filter Incident"* (but only when you come visit NYC again!). 😱

* Don't put a yellow filter on and then load color film into the camera - :bang:
