Eckerds film sale $1.68 for Kodachrome?

My loca Eckerds has these on their counter. Elite Chrome $2.68 (100) $1.68 (200)
Kodakchrome 64 for $1.68 too. Had them stacked up next to their digital memory cards and card readers...May just be my store check yours.

Is your local store still an Eckerd's? Around hgere they were bought out by CVS. They sold a lot of old inventory before the signs changed. Their film selection was significantly reduced afterward too.

Darn! I've been looking for the K-14 stuff to no avail. And there's no Eckerts in this town!

Why do these things happen in towns far, far away from mine? 🙁

Our Eckerds never had slide film, and that's still true now that they are CVS. But our Walgreens, directly across the street, used to have lots of slide film, albeit no Kodachrome. Now, even their slide film is gone, but I managed to pick up some rolls for about half price. Some guy writes a memo at corporate headquarters, and suddenly we enjoy a few weeks of discounted film followed by none at all. Oh well, it was always cheaper via Adorama anyway.

In Miami CVS took over Eckerd's some months ago. Haven't checked for slide film there recently.

Which store is this Rob, if you don't mind my asking? I might be able to go in there and pick up something if still available. I've never used K64.
