Eddy brought my 7 back to life

Brooklyn's camera wizard, Eddy Smolov, somehow found the parts to rebuild my dead Canon 7 beater.

Works like a charm now depite a serious case of brassing (and this is a chrome body.)

I just sent him my Contax IIa to adjust the RF. He is also working on a Rolleiflex TLR camera for me.

Eddy works on most manual focus cameras. His speciality is Hasselblad and Kiev/Contax.

His work is excellent. He has over 40 years of experience in camera repair. He is about 70 years old, so he knows what he is doing very well. If you have a very important lens and you have the extra cash to spend, choose any repair person you like. I use Eddy Smolov and Don Goldberg (DAG) for camera repair. Mark Hama is also a very good repairman.

Eddy just took back my IIa for the second time, and he again fixed the RF for no extra fees. He is excellent for working with you to perfect a repair.

He also did well in cleaning six lenses for me. He hates Rolleiflex 35mm SLR cameras, and he will not work on SL35 or similar cameras.


He sells on ebay.
