Educational Discounts?

Hi all,

Recently I found an educational discount pdf file for all Leica cameras/lenses, etc. Now I cant seem to find it at all. Anyone happen to have any information on discounts, rebates or anything of the sort for students or just in general?

A number of camera companies offer student or educational discounts. Almost always these programs change from year to year. Freestyle used to sell the educational priced Leicas. It was a very significant discount. Freestlye may still participate in the program. Also Mamiya, Hasselbad, others have or had such programs. The are not publicized much. Ask your dealer. You do need a valid student ID. Most of these programs also offer the same discount to photography faculty.

Hm, ok. I'll definately look into it. From what I saw earlier it was a pretty good discount.
