Efke 25 and Nikon 5000ED coolscan issue

Hello everyone. I just got back my first roll of Efke 25 that I shot. Only I'm having an issue with my Nikon 5k Coolscan, it will not accept the film. I wonder if it is due to the thin emulsion? Other negatives are thicker and go in to cue as they should. The Efke goes in and gets spit out again.

Any ideas?

I haven't tried Efke 25 with my Nikon 5k Coolscan but it's one of the films I'm planning to use more so I sort of have a dog in this fight. One thing I always try when Coolscan gives me trouble is to use the Nikon FH-3 feeder. It's a bit slower but it works.

I am having that same problem with some of the Arista films.
