I shot my first roll of Ektar today with a new to me Bessa R3a and 'cron-c 40/2. Almost every shot has an orange line running through it about 30-40% from top. Also, in Light Room, the histogram for all frames has the blue channel about 1/2" to the right of the other channels.

I did a quick and dirty PP using LR.

I will post the url for this Flickr set if any one is interested to look. I am sure it was a bad job at CVS, but would like an opinion. This was a test roll and I will probably only keep one or two shots.

Run another film through the camera and maybe process at a place you trust. Maybe BW at home?

I've had lines definitely from processing but once the film was being scratched by a faulty Bessa L.

The first thing to examine is the negative itself. Look for the scratch in the negative. In the past when I had a straight line in the negative it was causeed by dirt on the pressure plate. It can be caused by dirt during the developing process. Clean any area where film will come into contact with the camera body.

I have already run a roll of CN400 BW through with no problems. This does not look like a scratch.

I have been trying tp paste a link to one of the pictures without success.

When I examened the negs with a 50MM lens as loupe, I see no scratches, but also no line. Maybe a scanning artifact. That is good, I will have to scan them myself, as I plan on doing anyway.
