Ektar ISO??

I've been using Ektar 100 for a few months now and I love it. I shoot it at 100 ISO like the box says. When I started shooting this film, someone mentioned that it can handle being overexposed by a stop or two. I generally shoot at +1 EV with great results. I've also noticed more of a Red hue with the Ektar. I only get a blue/green hue with Fuji films.

Jan - I've decided to basically ignore most pictures I see online when it comes time to weigh in on color film attributes. Scanning is all over the place, photoshop skills are all over the place, etc. The best thing to do is to get a roll or two of the film in question and put it through it's paces.

Tim, you've got a point. I'll pick up a roll of 120 and run it thru. Maybe post some on my flickr acct when I do.

The first "facebook" set I really like the colours and you did a fine job with the C41 kit. The second "facebook" set has that 'retro-colour cast' I was mentioning. It gives things a vintage look of slightly aged and faded prints. This is what has kept me back from this film.

The big difference there is shooting indoors and outdoors. The scooters were an exhibit in the mall, with no flash.

Chris, nice blog! I looked at the images there then flipped over to flickr where some of the same images appear. I'm beginning to think the issue may not be the film but flickr's uploading process. Your blog images look much better than the flickr ones.
