Hi All,

As a new GSN user I have a question. When I'm looking through the viewfinder should the focussing dot have a distinct shape, as I've seen in threads concerning other RF's? I ask because mine doesn't, wether used in daylight or low light? It just appears as a yellow'ish, undefined blob.

If anyone has an illustration of what I should be seeing it would be much appreciated.

BTW, as an aside, this is definately the friendliest forum I've come across on the 'net. It's a pleasure to read and post here.

Thanks for the reply kyubi_fox. That's exactly what I see through the viewfinder. At least I know that what I'm looking at is correct. One thing it has made me notice is how dirty the viewfinder is. I'll have to look into getting this cleaned.

Once again, many thanks.

Dan.

Hi Dan,
Just thought I'd comment: I have a GSN and a GTN... On the GSN the diamond is quite well defined, whilst on the GTN the 'points' appear 'rounded'.

I have differences on both cameras (see my other post "Where's your diamond...")
