electro 35 gt and iso > 400

Hi,
just got a very nice 35 gt. ist there a possibility to set the camera for speeds faster than iso 500? any trick? would like to use it with 1600 films.

The meter circuit could be adjusted. I thought about it, got also the circuit diagram for a camera, (it was the cc version) but then i never tried it.
If you are good in electronics you might figure it out.

But no, i don't know any other tricks to bump UP the sensitivity.

How about an ND gel taped over the meter window?

You could swap out the meter with a gsn/gtn meter. I'm sure greyhoundman will be along to clarify and inform.
