electro gsn asa dial alignment

i've removed my top plate and cleaned the finders following advice in Matt's classic camera page.

on assembly, I guess I've unintentionally turned the asa dial without aligning it, so now I'm not sure if i have aligned it correct or not ??

is there a way to check it without sacrificing too much film ?

I've looked to yashica-guys page, but explanation seemed too complicated to me..

any ideas ??

Rotate iso shaft anticlockwise as far as it will go which will be 1000 and lock indicator dial into appropriate position ... very simple! Did the same thing a while ago! 🙂

can't believe I couldn't figured it out!! thanks a lot..

also use 2 strips of tape to hold the asa dial number plate in place while you tighten the thumbscrew thingy
