Hi,

Just to know if you can give me some advice about the Elmar 90/4 Collapsible. I just found one in good condition for about US$ 300. Is it a good deal?

If so, sounds good to me. I got mine a few months ago for about $400, although it had just had a CLA. Love this lens on my film M's, as well as my M8.

If it's in good shape, you have seen it and looked through it with a flashlight and found nothing, has lens caps, focusing and aperture rings turn well, and it collapses as it should, that's a bargain. 🙂

often a seller will provide the receipt if it was recently CLA'd, which is valuable in a resale situation -- you never know.

Sounds like a good deal to me!

I just received one, bought it for $199 on Ebay, and it's now on it's way to Sherry Krauter, for a sticky helical, and cleaning of -light- haze.

Looks like it be a cool new lens for me, to compliment my new 50mm f2.8 (1961) Elmar.
