It's a great pity they don't turn their talents to turning out (say) the old blackened brass rear caps or lens caps etc.

Thanks for pointing this out.

The elmar looks too clean to have been made in 1934 (Based on the serial numer). Also, the lens could not have been coated.

Hmmm... the Ukraine seller address is a dead give-away :)
