Such a cool concept (and practical as well - my Mamiya 7ii is not long for my shelf if this Fuji becomes reality...)

I raised my hand on the website. I usually like black, but this time I prefer the chrome.

Quite interesting, the camera offers quite a "retro" aspect, like the German folders of the Bessa series and others. And closed it looks a bit like a - huge - Kodak Retina of the 50s.![]()

As one can see from the spec-sheet, You have all that a photographer concentrated more in taking photographs than in playing with "toys" can desire: rangefinder, standard lens (not interchangeable), two exposure modes and a good flash socket.
Logically we don't know more specs neither price.
This prototype is a market study by Fujifilm. In our opinion they are conscient of the interesting movement which exists in the used MF market and specially in 6x7 format.![]()
Even if this prototype is not comparable in performance with a Mamiya 7 II, which offers interchangeable lenses and other advanced features, it is a camera and a format, which is very sought after in the special field of analogue fotography: the medium format.
It is to be whished that it enters production.
Technical data
Camera type: folder with coupled rangefinder
Film type: 120/220 rolls
Image Format: 6 x7 cm
lens: 80 mm f/3,5
shutter: electronically controlled
Shutter times: 1/500 sec to 1 second and “B”
flash synchronization: at all shutter times
Flash connection: hot shoe and cable socket
Exposure control: Aperture priority and manual

Done my bit.
Y'know, it just donned on me, there's nothing in the pictures that would prevent the lens from being interchangeable. The lens seem to "sit" on what looks like a "modern" lens mount to me.

*sniff* This camera almost brings a tear to my eyes. The retro-ness makes it sexy.

Sign me up. My Franka Rolfix has earned retirement. If Fuji doesn't bring it to the US, Matsuiyastore or Robert White will have them.

Love the ability to hang it from the right side. I sent my email though I'm sure it's well out of my price range for many months.
I have to agree with Tirus, chrome on this one, very strange.

Personally, very disappointed it's not 6x6, disappointed it's not a 2.8 lens, disappointed it "lost" the wind lever of earlier Fuji RF cameras in favor of the more retro (and slower) wind knob. This just seems like a nostaligia trip for the sake of a nostalgia trip. I was hoping for a more compact version of my Mamiya 6 with a faster lens. Or a 6x8. Guess not.
