Amateur Photographer magazine has announced today that Epson has ended manufacture of their digital r/f camera to concentrate on other things, despite an upsurge in sales!!

me too! I missed the early announcements. The RD1 is discontinued? That is truly a bummer! Now that's a camera I'd buy.

The good news is that Epson is pledging to support/repair it for 6 more years.
