That sounds fun! I've actually been working on the basic sketches and measurements for my own version of it at home.
I was going to do a little more rudimentary lens system and use a simple stand to hold the phone above a basic lens or magnifying glass or similar to make rough prints onto Instax and/or photo paper.
I hope it does well. It could introduce a new crowd to printing their own darkroom style photos and maybe get some more film fans into the world again.

There's a Polaroid version of this by the Impossible Project team. Image on your phone, projected through a lens, onto the photographic material.
Neat idea: Since we now have display screens that are clean, sharp, and high res, just print directly from the display.
