For some time , I have been negotiating several special Kievs from Mike Haley and his ex- Arsenal techs .
Well , although the donor cameras have been sent , my work dried up .
My daughter has now agreed to sub me for the work , so specially and expensively thinned leather samples are ready to go to Kiev .
Originally , I wanted just enigmatic II III IV on the cameras , but an English script based on the KNeB block letters is so successful that I have deecided to go with an english set of profiles -but engraved on the meter doors of the K III and K IV .
Mike has made the Kiev IIIa hybrid - with early Kiev 4 [ 1958 but poor ]

Self timer and flash sync to be removed and no numbers on the access shoes - kinda smoothed - and painted in a metallic bluebell colour .
Krazy , but my Autism gets hung up on details and difference - so this should make a deeference [ I have tried silver paper to block off the name/ numbers and KIeV and Contax labels , so I know that this will work for me .
Ok , £200 each all in ... could buy a proper camera for that ... but they will be unique to me .
