enough to drive a person mad

Gee, guys sorry but I just happened to open up the net on Canon searches and this popped out on the screen and I couldn't resist it. Your right I was rather chuffed that I beat K***N or Kinche as he used to go by. He now has a new moniker when he bids now "AMAXCRYSTAL".

It is one of the variations I didn't own so to get it at that price I was wrapped. I have bought a Bessa R and intend to start using some (lot) of the lenses in my collection and in fact I have my other 35mm f/1.5 lens on the camera right now.

Just an update of my book on Canon RF lenses. After five months of frustration the young guy who is doing the design and layout came back from China. At this moment he is placing all the charts and articles in place and moving things around. All the pics have been completed and have been positioned into the relevant spots but have to have to be cleaned up a bit into TIF size ready for the printers. The cover I have an idea of what I would like just has to be worked out on computer (Just love computers and digi cameras for this). Got my ISBN # and the book name has been registered "Canon M39 Rangefinder Lenses: A Collectors Guide" The book will be roughly 215mm x 310mm in size hardbound with colour dust cover and contain roughly 200 pages and 400 pics all B&W ( cant afford colour being a self publisher).

Was hoping for Xmas but will see how things pan out. Cheers Peter

Best of luck on the purchase. The "...I DONT KNOW TOO MUCH ABOUT THIS KIND OF LENS OTHER THEN...." is a big red flag for me. Got screwed a couple of times buying a couple of cameras with those kind of phrases. Hope it's as good a deal as it seems....
