Finally decided to try this 1950's English 4.5 x 6 folder with a roll of bw400cn. It's got an f/4.5 Rosstar lens with 8 speed Epsilon shutter. Got it on the bay a couple of years ago at the very decent price of 14 Euros.
Very sound leather bellows and fully working features. Well, of course not that many features, but enough to take photos...
Here a few pics taken with this little folder. Very compact size and 16 shots on a 120 roll. That's a bonus.
Anybody with Ensign shots, feel free to post them here. I'd love to see them.

Nice, both the motifs and the exposures. I´m not really a fan of low contrast images. But when taken with a legacy camera and lens it clicks. Done with a modern outfit, I´d not be so sure.

I will have to dig some out for you. I use an Ensign Selfix 820 with the epsilon shutter. It is the most fantastic camera for landscapes etc espeially with the huge neg (6x9)
