Epson 4900 question

I just bought a 13 month old Epson 4900 printer. Has anybody had to reset the printer? I was told that there is a program that will do this....short of sending it in for servicing. Said something like ink cartridge is over 6 months old. Call Epson for reset.

Any advice?

I got a waste tank reset program for free for my R3000 at www.2Manuals.com. Also got a service program, but that was not free.

Hey David, I picked up the 4900 yesterday and it works, but I cannot get the Epson icc profiles to show up when I try to print. Any ideas?

I am an Aperture user on a Mac, so I cannot speak for Windows, LightRoom, etc... On Mac OSX the profiles are in the /Library/Colorsync folder. So for me, in that folder I have a subfolder for the Epson R3000 profiles and another subfolder with the Red River paper profiles for the R3000. That is where Aperture looks for ICC profiles.
