Epson K3 inkjet samples?

Does anyone have any sample prints from the Epson K3 inks they would be willing to send me. Specifically I'm interested in BW prints from this inkset and would be willing to pay the cost for your sample image.

I ask this because of the news of the new Epson 3800 due in December, 17x22 max format for an expected 1295.00 USD. The 3800 also automatically changes from PK to MK inks, eliminating the step of changing out the cartidge. I have an epson 1280 and 2200 and toned prints look really nice but BW suffer some obvious metamerism and bronzing issues.

I would like to see how the K3 inks perform in a full tonal scale image on various papers but all the retailers have are color samples.

Thanks for any cooperation on this.

Sorry that i don't have any samples at the moment to send but I used 2200's, 7000 and 7600 untill I purchased the 2400. I primarily print B&W prints of my x-ray art (www.x-rayarts.com) and had a 2200 and 7000 modified for carbon pigment printing (piezography) and used the other 2200 and 7600 for color. I purchased a 2400 when they came out and loved the results so much that I sold the other 4 epsons. I then purchased a 7800 and may purchase a 9800 if a prospective sale comes through. The B&W prints are excellent. I can tell the difference but I've been printing in the darkroom for 49 years. I've printed on a variety of papers and when printing on sunset air dried gloss my clients can't tell the difference in silver gelatin and inkjet. I must say it's very close. For my art prints I use only Hahnemuhle photo rag and feel it looks superb. My NY gallery handles mainly photography and many vintage platinums. David the owner feels the the prints look very much like platinum prints. I must agree.

I think you'll be very pleased with B&W and if you use a premium luster or gloss you probably won't know the difference in darkroom prints and the epson prints.

I too am wondering how this new 3800 will do. I've been quite pleased with my 2200 doing BO or QTR prints but I want deeper blacks and the ability to print on lustre, and occasionally gloss without bronzing. Plus I want to print more richly-toned sepia images than I can get with the 2200 and QTR. Is the 7800 and 9800 the same exact technology and similar print drivers? Would love a print sample as well if so.....
