Epson R D-1s

I live in Los Angeles and would like to try the Epson rangefinder digital . Would anyone care to loan it in exchange for a loan of a Leica Digilux 2? For a day or even a few hours. None of the shops here seem to carry this. Many thanks. MelS

Be careful. After the other guy gets to try out your Digilux II, you might not get it back. You might be stuck with an R-D1. 😉 Seriously, great camera, that Digilux II. Trouble free, easy to use, and great pictures! I've used mine a lot in the sort time I've had it.

I don't particularly want to loan my R-D1 out, and I don't really have an interest in the Digilux 2, but if you want to meet sometime to handle and check out the camera for an hour or two that can be arranged.

Though I suppose it also depends on where in LA you are. I'm in the South Bay (Manhattan Beach) and am often on the westside, anywhere up to Santa Monica...
