Based on the caveat that you can only have ONE CAMERA... I'd go for the ZI (although I have the Epson rather than the ZI - purely because I am allowed other film cameras).

One could always digitize film, but not the other way around.
 
Zeiss Ikon for sure. "Death" of RF is still film, in my opinion, and a ZI is definitely a much more attractive camera to own, while - always imho - an Epson RD1 risks to be classified by others like just a new and fancy P/S camera.
