Epson R-D1 with CV Ultron 35/1.7 pics

In the first pic, I looked down and locked the exposure then recomposed at the sky when it was dusk here in Florida. I did absolutely no post processing. Second one was just dead on in monotone. Both were shot in RAW then exported to Jpeg.
 
I definitely like the 35/1.7 more on the R-D1 than on my film bodies. I was about to sell it when I got my R-D1 but thought I'd try it out. It's a little more neutral in character which I guess somehow just jives with the R-D1's sensor (for me anyway). I think the other reason I like it is that it's fairly small. My other main 35 is the 35/1.2, which is pretty huge, and seems even bigger on the R-D1. So I've been using the Ultron more as a regular lens and the 1.2 for when I know I'm going to be shooting people or I need the extra speed.

nice post. Sometimes I wonder if we are missing something by not having the CV 35/1.4. Or am I secretly passing GAS.
